Robert Burke, 37, of the 5300 block of Mine Road, was sentenced by Judge Dennis Reinaker on Dec. 26 to two to 10 years after pleading guilty to felony aggravated assault, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office said. Amish Farm Has Two-Alarm Barn Fire: Authorities An Amish barn had a blaze burning through it early Thursday morning, Oct. 10, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The call to the fire at the farm located in the 5900 block of Meadville Road in Salisbury Township, Narvon came into LCWC at 3:24 a.m., according to the supervisor. The area of Meadeville and Red Hill roads were closed as fire crews battled the blaze.   The barn stored hay, not animals, so no humans or animals were injured. More Than $122K Stolen From Lancaster County Horse Hospital More than $122,000 was stolen from a Lancaster County horse hospital, according to Pennsylvania State Police. State police were called to investigate a theft at the Black Horse Animal Hospital in Kinzers, Salisbury Township around 9:45 a.m. on April 23. Hospital staff informed PSP that unidentified suspects gained access to the Black Horse Animal Hospital's bank accounts and withdrew approximately $122,546.98. The theft was committed via wire fraud. The investigation is ongoing.
