: Ice Scraper Assault Of Passenger In Camp Hill, Police Say
A drunk driver and a man with an ice scraper got into a road rage-fueled fight in Camp Hill, police announced on Friday, Feb. 23. The Camp Hill police were called to "an active road rage incident" in the 300 block of South 32nd Street at 8:26 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, as stated in the department's release. Arriving officers found a drunk 47-year-old man from Mechanicsburg, a 26-year-old man with an ice scraper from Enola, and the intoxicated man's assaulted passenger, according to the release. UPDATE: The alleged thieves who stole a vehicle and caused a chase that seriously hurt two Pennsylvania state troopers have been identified as the following Brooklyn, NY men, according to a PSP release on Monday, May 22. Latrell White, 22-years-old. Terrence Caton, 26-years-old. Julien Fleury, 27-years-old. All three have been denied bail, according to their court dockets. Trader Joe's Is Finally Coming To Central Pennsylvania
For years the California healthy food chain grocery store has hinted that it would be coming to the area and now construction on the first Trader Joe's in Central Pennsylvania is about to begin. The Lower Allen Township Development Authority announced Thursday that a Trader Joe’s is under construction at the Lower Allen Commons, the former location of Bon-Ton. The store will be located along the interchange between Routes 11/15 and Route 581 by Capital City Mall in Cumberland County. Portion Of Route 581 Reopens After SWAT Standoff
A SWAT standoff closed a portion of Route 581 in Cumberland County Friday afternoon. The suspect was in a vehicle on the shoulder of a highway, closing PA-581 eastbound between Exit 2 and Exit 5 in Hampden Township as of 2 p.m., initial reports say. According to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's traffic cameras, the scene has cleared and the roadway has reopened. Circumstances about the incident remain unclear.
