Teen Dies On Lancaster Sidewalk: Police (Developing) A 17-year-old was found on a Lancaster city sidewalk on Monday morning and soon died, police announced on Oct. 16. Historic Downtown Lancaster Reopens After Police Incident Lancaster's popular and historic Penn Square was suddenly evacuated and detours were been put in place  due to a "police incident" on Monday, May 4, police say. Penn Square was closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic, as of approximately 9:30 a.m., according to a statement by the Lancaster Bureau of Police.
