Amish Farm Has Two-Alarm Barn Fire: Authorities An Amish barn had a blaze burning through it early Thursday morning, Oct. 10, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The call to the fire at the farm located in the 5900 block of Meadville Road in Salisbury Township, Narvon came into LCWC at 3:24 a.m., according to the supervisor. The area of Meadeville and Red Hill roads were closed as fire crews battled the blaze.   The barn stored hay, not animals, so no humans or animals were injured. Stoltzfus, 81 Of Narvon, Killed In Horse-Buggy Crash An Amish man with a total of 92 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was struck dead when his horse and buggy were struck by a BMW SUV, authorities told Daily Voice on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Levi R. Stoltzfus, 81, of Narvon, driving the buggy near the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Springville Road in East Earl Township when he struck the SUV at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, according to the police.
