Cold CASE: Philly Man Found Dead Off Turnpike In Lancaster County State police investigators hope to shed new light on the 1991 murder of a West Philadelphia man.  Derek Michael Mason was last seen leaving his South 39th Street home in October of that year, according to troopers.  His remains were discovered off the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Clay Township, Lancaster County in January 1992. Authorities determined that he had been murdered, but it took until 2023 to identify him using DNA evidence, police say.  Mason was known by the nicknames "Hawkeye" and "Hawk." Cold CASE: Philly Woman Found Strangled Off I-81 In Schuylkill County Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the murder of Caryn Fortino.  Fortino, 38, was found dead in a wooded area off of Interstate 81 in Delano Township on May 23, 2003. She had been strangled, according to troopers.  Authorities said Fortino was from the Philadelphia area and was last in contact with loved ones that February. Cold CASE: Troopers Find New Leads In PA Woman's 1997 Murder State police say they are making progress in their investigation of Patricia Woll's homicide.  Woll, 43, was living on River Road in Damascus Township, Wayne County when her house caught fire on Aug. 28, 1997.  She was found dead inside after firefighters beat the blaze. A "detailed investigation" led state police to declare the fire an arson and Woll's death a homicide.  "Several new investigatory leads and evidence have been uncovered and are activity being pursued by investigators," said troopers in a release on May 31. Cold CASE: Man Shot Dead While Checking Flat Tire On Delaware Expressway Pennsylvania State Police are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help them solve Naython Brown's murder.  Brown, a 33-year-old Philadelphia resident, was shot once in the head near Exit 4 on Interstate 95 on Oct. 18, 2019.  Troopers said he was traveling from Philadelphia to Chester when a rear tire on his Chevrolet Monte Carlo became deflated.
