A Mennonite dad was struck dead on Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. Eldon Kreider, 43, of Manheim was driving a pickup truck when he was struck by a sedan at the intersection of Hossler and Breneman roads in Rapho Township at 8:42 a.m., the coroner said. Tractor-Trailer Fire On PA Rt 283 In Lancaster County Causes Delays: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer fire has caused delays on Route 283 on Thursday morning, Oct. 3, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fire happened in the westbound lanes of PA Rt 283 between Exit: Pa. 772 – Mount Joy/Manheim And Exit: Rheems/Elizabethtown, according toe PennDOT's 511PA. Emergency crews were called to the fire around 8:45 a.m., 511PA shows. Lane restriction was put in place as crews remained on the scene.
