A Harrisburg man faces attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges after a stabbing incident left a victim severely injured, police announced on Monday, Nov. 4. PA Hit-Run Drunk Driver Caught Changing Tire After Striking Bicyclist: Police
A bicyclist in a bright yellow jacket was struck in broad daylight by a drunk driver on Monday, police say. Lower Paxton police were called to a bicyclist struck in the 6700 block of Allentown Boulevard around 5 p.m. Feb. 28, according to the department's release. Upon arrival, officers learned it was a hit-and-run, but we're also told by witnesses that the fleeing vehicle was damaged along the passenger side of its front bumper, the release shows. Police in Central Pennsylvania are searching for a man wanted for strangulation. Perry A. Harris is wanted out of Lower Paxton. Further details were not released. Residents in Lower Paxton are urged to shelter in place due to a gunman. There is a barricaded gunman on Manyunk Road near Pennswood Apartments, say area police. Police are working to deescalate the situation. In an effort to keep residents safe the police ask that all people in the area shelter in place until the situation has been resolved.
