Police ID Skeletal Remains In Lehigh Valley As 'Kunkletown Killer'
Police have identified the skeletal remains found by hunters in the Lehigh Valley as belonging to a convicted killer. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said the bones were those of William S. Edelman, Jr., a 65-year-old who most recently lived in Catasauqua. The remains were located just before 4:30 p.m. Monday in a secluded portion of the Appalachian Trail in Moore Township, the coroner said. Lehigh Valley high school student and beloved brother Josué Santana Burgos died at Lehigh Valley Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 22. He was 15. Josué was homeschooled and until recently a student at Allen High School, his obituary says. Josué is survived by his loving parents, Alexis Santana and Olga Burgos; his sister, Marangeys Santana Burgos; as well as several extended family members and close friends.
