'Armed, Dangerous' Murder Suspect Turns Himself Over To Police In Central PA
A Central Pennsylvania man wanted in connection with a weekend killing has turned himself over to authorities, according to an updated release on Tuesday. Terrance McCain, 37, was wanted for criminal homicide following the shooting on the 900 block of S. Duke Street around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 in Lancaster, police said. A doctor who specializes in "serving Old Order Amish and Mennonite (Plain) populations," is accused of sexually one of his patients. Vladimir V. Two Lancaster County teens have been arrested following an attempted homicide, the police announced on Thursday, Sept. 14. Fourteen years ago Michael Evans died from stab wounds in Lancaster, but on Thursday, his accused killer was arrested in the Dominican Republic. A warrant of Carl Hunter Sr. known as "Low" was issued in 2018 in connection with the deadly stabbing of Evans. He was arrested in the Dominican Republic at 9:18 a.m. on Sept. 14, 2023. A 29-year-old man was driving a car that stopped train tracks and ending up getting pushed and rolled off the tracks, police announced on Wednesda night. Kaden Stetler of Horseshoe Road in Lancaster was driving a silver 2009 Ford Edge that stopped on the tracks in the 300 block of Willow Road for an unknown reason shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, according to East Lampeter Township police. A hit-and-run driver struck a man dead in Harrisburg on Sunday, according to the police. The man was struck in the crosswalk near North 6th and Radnor streets around 2 a.m. on Sept. 3, according to the Harrisburg police. A man was struck dead crossing a road in York County on Monday evening, authorities announced. The unidentified 58-year-old was hit by a 2001 Dodge Caravan driven by a 69-year-old Dillsburg man heading north in the far right lane of Carlisle Road near York Crossing Drive, West Manchester Police explained in a release on Tuesday. A stabbing at a restaurant sent police to an area hospital. Essence Fatima McGhie was arrested at 8:50 p.m. on Aug. 6 in connection with a stabbing following a fight outside Villa Nova at 1310 Harrisburg Pike, the Manheim Township police detailed in a release late in the month. Less than a year after moving to the United States of America a 12-year-old Ugandan boy has drowned in a Pennsylvania lake, his family announced on Monday, Aug. 21.
