Numerous emergency crews rescued a man "who was wedged in a crevice, deep inside the Wind Cave at the Clark Nature Preserve" on Saturday night into Sunday morning, officials explained to Daily Voice on Monday, Sept. 9. The man was rescued after 1 a.m. after over five and a half hours stuck in the cave, rescue workers explained. A fall into a open grate hole has left a worker dead at a Pennsylvania Holdiay Inn on Sunday, officials say. Alexei Rodriguez-Balceiro, 42 of the 430 block of East King Street in Lancaster, died at 3:20 p.m. following multiple attempts to save his life after he was pulled unconcious from an air vent shaft, the Lancaster City Bureau of Police and the County Coroner's Office announced on Monday. A man who had been a firefighter in his community since 2013 died weeks after a motorcycle crash he had on his way to work, his fire company announced on Sunday. Chris McCann was a member of the Lancaster City Bureau of Fire, most recently serving as 2nd Driver of C-Platoon Company 1.
