Man 'Zoomed In' On Child's 'Intimate Parts', Ephrata Police Say
A Reinholds man has been charged with invasion of privacy after an investigation revealed he allegedly possessed inappropriate images of a juvenile, the Ephrata Police Department announced on Monday, Nov. 18. Anthony John Valente, 39, is accused of possessing images of the intimate parts of a juvenile taken without the victim’s knowledge or consent. According to police, the photos were taken from a distance and zoomed in on the victim's body and intimate areas. A second teen boy is in police custody after a shooting at a house party on Monday, Sept. 16, the Lancaster Bureau of Police announced on Thursday, Sept. 19. Officers were called to multiple reports of shots fired in the 300 block of East New Street at 9:18 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16. Warminster Township police seek the public's assistance in locating a 17-year-old boy, authorities said on Friday, Aug. 23. The unidentified teen walked away from his group home in Warminster, police said. The date and time he disappeared was not shared. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt, and a black backpack. The missing teenage boy has a light scar on the right side of his forehead. A juvenile who led police on a chase in a stolen car has been charged, Reading Police announced on Monday, June 24. Officers spotted the vehicle near North 3rd and Washington streets around 1:30 a.m. When they tried to pull it over, the 15-year-old driver fled into Muhlenberg Township where he lost control and crashed, according to officials. A boy was shot walking down a Harrisburg Street on Sunday afternoon. The Harrisburg Police were called to a report of a dark colored car that drove along the 1800 block of Forster Street shooting at a male juvenile around 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival officers learned the boy had been transported to a local hospital and was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. A man who accidentally shot himself in the hand in the presence of a juvenile was arrested after police found five firearms and a marijuana plant in his West Earl Township home, authorities said.
