An 18-year-old girl, accompanied by her attorney, turned herself in for a deadly hit-and-run of an Amish man on Tuesday, June, 7, police say.
Anya Renee Myers was allegedly the driver of a car that struck Samuel S. King, 43, of Houser Road, Lancaster, in the 1800 block of Rockvale Road around 7 a.m. Wednesday, Apr. 27, according to West Lampeter Township police.
King had died at the scene of the crash from "serious head injuries" after he was thrown from a scooter, which was found damaged nearby, police say.

A 7-week-old baby girl’s death investigation has resulted in her mom's arrest and a warrant for her mom's boyfriend, Pennsylvania state police say.
The infant went into cardiac arrest in the 100 block of Bentz Mill Road in Washington Township in York on Thursday, Jan. 27, according to a release by PSP.

A Bucks County woman was arguing and speeding when she lost control of her car and crashed, killing her 56-year-old boyfriend two months ago, Yahoo News reports citing the Bucks County Courier Times.
Theresa Dowling, of Northampton Township, was going 94 mph on Lower Holland Drive — a 35 mph road — around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, the outlet says citing police.

A four-year-old boy who shot and killed himself last month in the Philadelphia suburbs used his brother's unattended and loaded gun, authorities said.
