A person was struck by a vehicle in York County on Tuesday, Sept. 3, according to the York County Department of Emergency Services. The strike happened at the intersection of Red Rock Run and Pearl Drive in Penn Township around 7:30 a.m., dispatchers said. EMS was called to the scene but the extent of the pedestrian's injuries is unknown at the time of publishing. Check back here for updates.

Hit-Run Leaves Woman On Scooter Lying In Roadway By PA Chili's, Police Say
A woman who had been riding a scooter outside of Chili's in York was truck by a passing vehicle that fled the scene, West Manchester Township Police announced on Thursday, Aug. 29. The police arrived at the Chili's located at 1295 Carlisle Road in York to find the woman lying in the northbound traffic lanes of the road in front of the restaurant at 3:51 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, as detailed in the police release. A man was found with drugs following a hit-and-run crash into a horse-and-buggy on Tuesday, Aug. 13, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Aug. 21. Two people were killed in a crash on Interstate 81 on Wednesday, Aug. 21, Pennsylvania State Police announced. Tractor-Trailer Rollover Blocks Ramp On Rt 22: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer rolled onto its side is blocking the on-ramp to Route 22 on Monday morning, Aug. 5., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The tractor-trailer appears to have flipped exactly in front of the on-ramp from Elmerton Avenue to North Cameron Street/Route 22 Northbound near Wildwood Drive around 6:40 a.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA traffic cameras. 1 Hospitalized After Train Strikes Vehicle In Lancaster Co.: Authorities
One person is in the hospital after their vehicle was struck by a train on Tuesday, July 30, a supervisor with Lancaster County Wide Communication told Daily Voice. The call to the train versus car collision at the railroad crossing in the 2500 block of Horse Road in Upper Leacock Township came into LCWC around 4 p.m. One person in the vehicle was taken to the hospital, and their injuries are reportedly minor. The road was closed at 5:15 p.m. as emergency crews remained on the scene.

A single shot was fired from a PA State Trooper's weapon while arresting a man wanted for intimidating a victim hours after being served with a protection from abuse order in Franklin County, police said.
