A 13-year-old boy is accused of killing an 18-year-old high school senior just three days before his graduation. Zahkee Talib-Davis has been charged as an adult with Murder and Carrying a Firearm Without a License following the shooting death of Tyron Perrin, the Susquehanna Township Police announced on June 5. Officers were called to a report of an unconscious person in the 3600 block of Brookridge Terrace at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4th. 17-Year-Old ID'd After Motorcycle Crash On Ritner Highway, Route 11
A Newville 17-year-old has been identified by his family following a deadly motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer at Ritner Highway and Route 11. Drew Benfield was days away from graduating when his 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle "impacted with the trailer" of a 2017 Kenworth truck in the 3400 block of Ritner Highway onto Route 11 in West Pennsboro Township on Monday, May 8, 2023, around 12 p.m., according to a release by Pennsylvania State Police. Penn State Lion Loses Ear To Vandals Officials Say
Vandals broken into Penn State’s Nittany Lion Shrine on Sunday, May 8, and causing some serious damage, officials with the university say. The lion’s ear was broken off and red paint was splashed all over the shrine, according to a release by the school. The site has been fenced off and closed to all graduation photos.
