York County Man, 55, Dies In Vehicle Fire: Police Authorities are investigating a deadly vehicle fire in Manchester Township.  Northern York Regional police were called to the 2400 block of Pin Oak Drive around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, May 23. They arrived to find a white 1994 GMC Safari minivan fully engulfed in flames.  York Area United Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire and 55-year-old Thomas Rooney was found dead in the van, police said. David Mitchell Jr. 89 and his 87-year-old wife Helen Mitchell died in the blast in the 1400 block of Riverview Road in Crescent Township, Allegheny County, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner. North Philadelphia Fires Kill Woman, Injures Firefighter One woman is dead and a Philadelphia firefighter is hurt after a pair of fires on Tuesday, Dec. 19, and early Wednesday, Dec. 20, officials told Daily Voice.  The first blaze broke out around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of West Tioga Street in Franklinville, a Fire Department spokesperson said.
