After one person was found unconscious at a Pennsylvania Kohl's store, more than 20 people were evacuated— 10 of which have been hospitalized, authorities say. A 17-year-old from Minnesota has been hospitalized after they were found drunk in an unlocked car in central Pennsylvania, police say. The teen was spotted by Northern Lancaster County Regional police while they were investigating trespassing in progress. Passersby assisted officials when a tractor-trailer was struck in the middle of a muddy field with an injured driver, according to a release by police. West Shore Regional Police and emergency medical services were dispatched to a residence in the 200 Block of Bosler Avenue on Wednesday around 5 a.m., according to the release. An 8-year-old boy from Pennsylvania was found in Detroit, according to a release by Michigan state police. The Michigan state police Second District Special Investigation Section was contacted by Pittsburgh police to assist in a search for a kidnapped child, according to the release. A man riding on a motorized bicycle has died following a car crash in Harrisburg, according to area police. The man was riding in the 300 block of South 29th Street on Thursday around 4:30 p.m. A preliminary investigation by police shows that the man veered into traffic and collided with a vehicle. New Holland Borough police department is mourning the death of Officer Wendell Metzler, who died of cancer. He was 52 years old. Serving on the force for 20 years -- 25 part time for West Earl police -- Metzler lived a life full of service to his community. He previously worked for Ephrata Township police for seven and a half years, and spent 22 working as a volunteer firefighter with West Earl and Upper Leacock Fire Companies.
