Stevens Man Charged For Sharing Child Pornography: East Cocalico Police
A Stevens man has been charged with possessing and sharing child pornography following a two-month investigation, East Cocalico Township Police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Michael Pierce, 50, was charged with possession of child pornography, dissemination of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility, according to police.
Pierce was arrested in Stevens on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Pierce’s preliminary arraignment was held, and he was released on non-monetary bail, authorities said.
His preliminary hearing is pending.
CEO Charged With DUI After Stop On Route 222 In Lancaster
The CEO of Optimum Controls Corporation has been charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop in Lancaster County, police announced on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Michael Galiyano, 76, of Sinking Spring, was pulled over near mile marker 47 on Route 222 North in Denver at approximately 9:38 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, according to East Cocalico Township Police. Officers reported that Galiyano appeared impaired, and a breath test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of .187%, more than double the legal limit of .08%.

Kelly Jo Saylor, 50, of Stevens, PA, was charged with Defiant Trespass and Public Drunkenness after returning to a property she’d been warned to stay away from on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, according to East Cocalico Township Police.

Four Kids Spotted Getting Baked In Car With Woman Named 'Baker,' Police In Lancaster Co. Say
Mary Baker was found "baked" on marijuana in a smoke-filled car with four children on Jan. 13, 2023, authorities announced in a release on Feb. 28.
Baker, 43, of Denver, was noticed by the police while sitting in "a parked vehicle full of smoke with the windows up" in the 100 block of Main Street around 7:45 p.m., East Cocalico Township police say.
Officers also "discovered Baker was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia," as stated in the release.
The children in the vehicle were not her's, so their parents were notified, according to the release.…
