A 24-year-old man high on marijuana and fentanyl caused a head-on crash killing a mom and injuring her child on Christmas Day, Manheim Township police announced on Friday, April 5. A Manheim man led authorities on a high speed chase and was taken to the hospital, only to flee on foot, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department announced on Friday morning. A 30-year-old dad is accused of getting drunk and high before he suffocated his 6-month-old baby boy, according to court documents filed on April 3 and obtained by Daily Voice the following afternoon. Timothy Ray Walton's infant was found on his mobile home's floor in Ephrata — unresponsive — at 8:10 a.m. on Jan. 19, as detailed by police in the affidavit of probable cause. A "serious" crash had police asking the public to avoid part of York Township as they launched an investigation on Thursday evening. A convicted felon and mom of three children is wanted for giving them marijuana brownies and alcohol, Chambersburg police announced late on Wednesday night.
