Drown Kayaker ID'd By York County Coroner Two Kayakers were rescued and one man drowned on Monday night in Muddy Creek, according to the York County coroner. John Beachey, 53, of the 11,000 block of Gum Tree Road, Brogue,  accidentally drown around 11 p.m. Beachey had been kayaking with friends in the area of the Gorge near Peach Bottom Township at the time. No autopsy will be conducted.

Coroner IDs Boy, 2, Drown In York County Storm Drain A two-year-old who went missing on Easter has been identified after he was found drown in a storm drain, authorities said. The toddler has been identified as Kamdyn Torres. He was reported missing shortly after 6 p.m. on Sunday night, family said he was last seen playing in the backyard according to Northern York Regional police. A volunteer assisting with the search found the body around 8 p.m. on East Tenth Avenue. Emergency medical services tried to revive the boy via CPR. He was declared deceased at a York Hospital.
