Non-Verbal Wheelchair-Bound Man Abandoned By Caretaker In Car In Central PA, Police Say
In only a t-shirt and shorts, a non-verbal wheelchair-bound 34-year-old man was found abandoned by his caretaker, authorities say. The paid caregiver 63-year-old Joseph Mbugua Munyambu, on Jan. 7 at 10:53 a.m., according to a release by the Middletown Borough police. Officers were first called to the 100 Block of Pathfinder Drive for an abuse/neglect call around 9:30 a.m. A witness saw "an unattended male in the backseat of a parked vehicle for an extended period of time, and the vehicle was not running," according to a release by the department the following Monday.…

Uber To Pay Millions For Penalizing Riders With Disabilities, Federal Authorities Announce
Uber will forfeit nearly $1.8 million to more than 1,000 passengers with disabilities and refund double the amount of wait time fees to more than 65,000 others to resolve a federal complaint, authorities announced. Uber will also furnish an additional $500,000 to others harmed by the practice and will also waive wait time fees for certified riders with disabilities going forward, the Justice Department said Monday. A non-verbal, autistic high school senior died in a house fire earlier this week, according to officials and multiple media outlets. Aidan Albert Herrera, 20, of Hughestown, died in a fire at his home on Monday, officials say. The fire broke out in the the top floor of the family's home on Kenley Street in Hughestown, Luzerne County on Monday around 6 p.m., according to fire officials. ? Air Force Air Medic Seriously Injured In Hit-Run In York
An Air Force medic from York County may never walk again after a hit-and-run, according to area police. Brittany Hoffnagle, 31 of York, was out for a run as part of her off-duty fitness training when the crash occurred on May 26 at 5:30 p.m., say York Area Regional Police. The Jeep Gladiator pictured struck her in the area of Craley Road at Gebhart Road in Windsor Township.
