1 Injured In Central PA Shooting, Fleeing Suspect Spotted On Video: PD
One person suffered an injury after two guns were fired in Oxford, police announced on Thursday, Sept. 12. The shooting happened in the 200 block of South Fourth Street on around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, the Oxford police detailed in the release. The "shots fired incident" happened following an argument, police believe. "Several live and spent shell casings have been collected that will be sent for analysis," the police said. Police have identified the bicyclist and fireworks stand worker struck and killed by a pickup truck driver suffering a medical episode July 4th weekend in Washington DC. Truck Hits Utility Pole, Flips Killing 28-Year-Old Driver In Lancaster County Crash
A 28-year-old Adamstown man was killed after he lost control of his truck and crashed in Ephrata early Sunday morning, authorities said. The unidentified driver was negotiating a sharp left turn in his sivler Chevrolet Silverado when he lost control of the truck near the intersection of Route 897 and Sportsman Road in West Cocalico around 1:15 a.m., local police said. The truck hit a utility pole as it skidded off the roadway and flipped onto its side, killing the sole occupant, police said. Party-Stunt On Mattress Towed By Truck Goes Wrong, Two Flown To Hospital
Two partygoers were seriously injured while attempting a stunt on a mattress being pulled by a truck in Manheim Townshipon Sunday, say authorities. Northern York County Regional Police Department were called to investigate a crash in the 5500 block of Wolfgang School Road around 2:54 a.m. On scene the police found a woman, 26 from Glen Rock, with a major head injury.
