A man wanted for robbery and aggravated assault was found with a loaded gun in Atlantic City, authorities said. Ronald Johnson, 40, of Atlantic City, was arrested on Friday, Apr. 12 after officers saw Johnson on the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, Apr. 18. Atlantic City police conducted surveillance that resulted in the arrest of two men — including one from Philadelphia — and the recovery of a handgun and assorted drugs, authorities said. On Wednesday, Sept. 20, Detectives Christopher Dodson and James Barrett were conducting surveillance in the first block of south Mansion Avenue when they allegedly observed Malik Jones of Atlantic City and Camron Izzard of Philadelphia appearing to be dealing drugs, police said. A 59-year-old carjacking suspect led police on a chase through several towns n Atlantic County before his arrest, authorities said. At 1:54 p.m., on Saturday, Atlantic City Police Officer Heriberto Barrios-Gomez was on foot patrol near the beach block of Arkansas Avenue when he heard a woman screaming, police said.
