CASE: FBI In PA Investigating 'Baby Jane Doe' Found In NJ Dumpster
The remains of an infant girl were found in a dumpster behind a New Jersey shopping center in a 1986 cold case authorities in Pennsylvania announced they are investigating in a release on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024. The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Philadelphia and police in Gloucester County, New Jersey are investigating a case involving a "Baby Jane Doe" found on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 4, 1986, according to the release. CASE: Police Investigate Bucks County 4-Year-Old's Death
Authorities are looking for answers in the Buckingham Township death of Michael Allen Daum. Daum, 4, was found dead on the front lawn of a neighbor's Route 413 home on June 26, 1972. Pennsylvania State Police say he had facial injuries when discovered. His official cause of death was ruled "asphyxiation associated with aspirated vomitus." Anyone with information is asked to call PSP's Troop M at 610-861-2026.

Penn State Grad Found Dead In Los Angeles: Coroner
A 25-year-old Pennsylvania man and PSU grad was found dead in his Los Angeles County, California apartment, authorities say. Elias 'Eli' Crone was found dead of asphyxia caused by hanging at 9:09 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, according to the LA County Coroner's officer. Eli was born in Wrightsville on June 8, 1998, authorities say. He studied at Lancaster Catholic High School where he played baseball and football, which he previously shared on social media. Target Recalls 204K Weighted Blankets After Children Die From Asphyxiation
Hundreds of thousands of weighted blankest sold online and at Target brick-and-mortar locations across the country are being recalled due to the potential a child could die by asphyxiation following a pair of reported deaths. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that it is recalling approximately 204,000 “Pillowfort Weighted Blankets” that pose a threat because a child could become entrapped inside by unzipping and entering the blanket, potentially creating a fatal situation.
