Dakota Wayne Varner, 25, of New Holland, was charged after police executed a search warrant on his home, uncovering explicit materials depicting minors, according to the New Holland Police Department.
Officers began investigating after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Dec. 30, 2024. The tip led detectives to Varner’s residence in New Holland Borough, police said.

A Williamsport man is accused of providing alcohol to teens, secretly filming them, and possessing child sexual abuse material, police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Colin James Best, 39, has been charged with sexual abuse of children, invasion of privacy, corruption of minors, furnishing liquor to minors, criminal use of a communication facility, indecent assault, and endangering the welfare of children, according to Williamsport police.

Authorities have announced an arrest made in an overdose death nearly two years later in Bucks County.
Following an "extremely lengthy" investigation with Springfield police and Bucks County detectives, William Wright, 38, was arrested on Tuesday, June 18, Springfield police said.
