PA Man Dies After Medical Event Leads To Route 33 Crash: Coroner
A 67-year-old man from Buckingham Township, Bucks County, died after a crash along Route 33 in Northampton County, the coroner’s office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Jerome J. Ozovek suffered a medical event, leading to the crash on the northbound off-ramp to Main Street at the Tatamy Exit in Palmer Township on Monday, Nov. 25, according to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. Ozovek was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner ruled the cause of death as natural due to a medical event. Police ID Family Dead In Bucks County Double Murder-Suicide
A 59-year-old Bucks County man killed his wife and son before turning the gun on himself, authorities said. Steven Chow shot and killed 21-year-old Raymond Chow and 63-year-old Amy Troung while they lay in their beds, before fatally shooting himself a short time later in "The Ridings of Buckingham" neighborhood, they said. DA Will Not Seek Death Penalty For Temple Policeman's Accused Killer
The death penalty will not be sought for the 19-year-old charged with Officer Christopher Fitzgerald's murder, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, July 10. Fitzgerald, a 31-year-old Temple University policeman and father of four, was fatally shot on Feb. 18 during an armed robbery on West Montgomery Avenue, authorities have said.
