$90K+ Raised For Springfield Family After Fatal Hit-Run I-95 Crash A community is mourning their loss after a 32-year-old woman died due to a traumatic brain injury following a hit-run crash on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.  Tess Kathryn Fox, most recently of Springfield, Pennsylvania but formerly of West Deptford, New Jersey, died on Saturday, Sept. 14 as a result of the crash on Interstate 95 near Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday, Sept. 7,  Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice on Thursday, Sept. 19, and as detailed in obituary published by McGuinness Funeral Homes. Jackknifed Trailer Closed I-95 For Several Hours In Philadelphia Interstate 95 has reopened in Philadelphia following a tractor trailer crash early Thursday, Aug. 8. The trailer jackknifed in the 6:30 a.m. crash in between exits for Vine Street Expressway and Columbus Boulevard. 6abc says HazMat teams were called to the scene for a fuel spill. As of 10 a.m., the highway had reopened but residual delays were expected. I-95 SB is now open. Traffic has begun moving but expect residual delays. Flaming Jackknife Tractor-Trailer On I-95 Near Betsy Ross Bridge (Video) A tractor-trailer fire shuttered part of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for hours, Pennsylvania State Police explained on Friday morning.  The tractor-trailer was already ablaze when it jackknifed on I-95 South at mile marker 25.6 in Philadelphia County near the Betsy Ross Bridge into New Jersey around 7:30 a.m. on June 28, state police detailed in the release.  The fire has been extinguished and Troop K Philadelphia Station was on the scene as of 9 a.m. The driver was able to escape.  Click the player below to see a Citizen video of the firefighters on the scene.
