Second Tractor-Trailer Crash On PA Turnpike Interchange To Rt 283: PennDOT
Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The second tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from Rt 283 West to the PA Turnpike/Interstate 76 South near the exit to the Harrisburg International Airport in Lower Swatara Township. Two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 81 sending one person to the hospital, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. The crash happened on I-81 South at mile marker 93 in Swatara Township shortly after 4 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, as detailed by Schreffler. There was "heavy entrapment" and one of the tractor-trailers rolled over, Schreffler explained. One driver was taken to Hershey Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is unknown. Tractor-Trailer Slams Into Bank In York County: Officials
A tractor-trailer crashed into a bank in York on Friday afternoon, July 26, authorities say. The tractor-trailer struck the First National Bank on South Queen Street, PA Route 74 by the intersection of St. Charles Way just after the ramps for Interstate 83, according to the York County Department of Emergency Services. Dump Truck Crashes Into Amish Family's Bird-In-Hand Home
An Amish family's home was struck by a dump truck on Thursday morning, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The truck's cab's front right tire appears to have blown out based on photos shared by Daniel Stoltzfus who also witnessed the crash.
