Amish Toddler Killed In Forklift Accident On Family Farm In PA: Coroner A 16-month-old Amish girl was killed in a tragic farming accident on her family's property in Upper Leacock Township, the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office announced. Martha G. King was struck by a forklift on the grounds of her home on the 100 block of Horseshoe Road in Leola at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, investigators said in a press release. Emergency crews responded for a report of cardiac arrest. When the coroner arrived, Martha was found on an unpaved path and was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m., according to the release. Manheim Mennonite Dad Struck Dead Driving Amish Boys, Friends Say A Mennonite dad was struck dead on Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.  Eldon Kreider, 43, of Manheim was driving a pickup truck when he was struck by a sedan at the intersection of Hossler and Breneman roads in Rapho Township at 8:42 a.m., the coroner said.  The driver of the sedan "pulled out in front of him at the intersection," a family friend said. The coroner had been called to a pedestrian struck at 1420 Beaver Valley Pike in Strasburg Township at 3:28 a.m., according to the release.
