The man's family has been contacted and is cooperating with the police as they complete their investigation.
“At this time, through the investigation, it does appear to be a suicide, as nothing could be found to indicate otherwise,” officials told Daily Voice.
The reason he jumped was unavailable at the time of publishing, but in the days since his family told us he struggled with depression for many years.
One family member wrote:
"He has struggled for years and in turn his family has suffered with him."
The police and family are working together to bring the investigation to a close.
