A young girl died after she was found unresponsive inside a Philadelphia home Thursday evening, June 11, police said. Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Somerset Street in Kensington after receiving a report of an unresponsive child at approximately 7:07 p.m, according to police. When the Philadelphia Police Department's 24th District officers arrived, they found the child unresponsive, and medics rushed her to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, authorities said. A man who disappeared while paddleboarding during severe weather on Lake Marburg has been identified after his body was recovered following a multi-day search, officials announced Thursday, June 11.
