One Killed In Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash In St. Mary's County, Sheriff Says (Developing) Speed and alcohol may have been a factor in a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash that was reported in Charlotte Hall, officials say. Deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were called at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1 to investigate a reported crash in the center median in the area of Route 5 and Oak Station Drive. Upon arrival, officials said that deputies were met by a 2021 Nissan Armada with "extensive damage," and determined that it had flipped over. Teen Killed Breaking Up Fight At Party On Property Owned By Spotsylvania County: Sheriff One teen was killed attempting to break up a fight in Spotsylvania County and another is behind bars for his death on Sunday morning, according to the sheriff's office. Kenneth Watson has been charged with homicide and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection to the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Christian Whalen at a large gathering in Fredericksburg.
