As a wave of fake threats against schools plague social media and bog down police department, teens are beginning to get some punishment for the bogus posts. One teen who made threats against Lampeter Strasburg High School was charged with a misdemeanor for Terroristic Threats on Friday Sept. 20, West Lampeter Township police announced on Monday, Sept. 23. A 10-year-old boy is dead and a 13-year-old has been charged with murder in connection with his death, Pennsylvania State Police and the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office announced on Aug. 2. James Campbell, 13, of Stahlstown has been charged with criminal homicide and murder in the first degree, court records show. He has been held without bail in the Westmoreland County Juvenile Detention Center. 1 Killed, 1 Injured In Delaware County Shooting: Police
Authorities in Collingdale are investigating a deadly shooting on Friday, May 17. Police said two juvenile victims were found on the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue around 4:20 p.m. One victim was shot in the torso and taken to Crozer Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, borough police said. The second victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the foot, they added.
