Woman Hospitalized After Strike At Lebanon Intersection: Police A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Lebanon, Lebanon City police announced on Thursday, Jan. 16. The incident occurred in the area of East Cumberland and Bowman streets around 6:30 a.m., police said. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, authorities added. The pedestrian, an adult woman, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition has not been disclosed. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has additional information is urged to contact the Lebanon City Police Department.

A dark gray Honda Accord traveling northbound struck the victim before fleeing the scene, York County Regional Police said. The Honda Accord sustained damage to the passenger side, including a broken side mirror, police said. A piece of the front bumper was recovered at the scene, investigators added. Columbia Borough Police officers were called to a report of a person struck at Columbia Plaza in the 910-970 block of Lancaster Avenue at 12:19 a.m., according to the release and Google Maps Street View.
