Maryland Man Who Robbed 5 Pennsylvania Banks Sentenced: Usdoj
A man has been sentenced after committing five bank robberies in Adams, Cumberland, and York Counties in under four months just two months after spending over a decade in a Maryland State Prison, according to an updated release by the US Department of Justice on Monday, Feb. 5.
James Henderson Bryant III, 46, of Westminster, Maryland, was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Thursday, Feb. 1, the USDOJ detailed in the release.

UPDATE: A New Jersey political consultant was sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for hiring two hitmen to kill a longtime associate from Hudson County.
Sean Caddle, 45, of Hamburg, will have to serve just about all of the plea-bargained sentence because there's no parole in the federal prison system.

A serial robber in the Philadelphia area is in police custody after targeting two banks and four drugstores in the past month or so, authorities said.
Richard Lawrence, 56, of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with five counts of robbery and related offenses on Tuesday, April 19, Abingdon Township police said.
Lawrence walked into the TD Bank on Moreland Road in Willow Grove while dressed in Muslim garb and with his face hidden, demanding that the teller give him "all the 50's and 100's" before fleeing the scene on Saturday, April 2, police said.

A serial bank robber who nearly killed a Pennsylvania State Police trooper trying to arrest him was sentenced to 25 years in prison, authorities said.
Christopher Larue, 44, was on supervised release after serving a 12-year prison sentence when he entered the QNB Bank in Perkasie brandishing a gun and robbing the bank of $11,000 on Oct. 19, 2020, United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams said.
Larue, of Lansdale, was convicted in 2009 of five additional bank robberies, the attorney said.

$1,500 Reward Offered For ID Of Howard County Bank Robber
A $1,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a Howard County bank robber.
The robbery happened at Howard Bank on Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City on Dec. 3, at 1 p.m., Howard County police said.
A man approached the counter and told the clerk he had a weapon, then passed a note announcing a robbery was taking place and demanding cash, police said. After receiving the money the suspect fled and no one was injured.
