Motorists are urged to avoid the area for several hours while crews work to clear the scene and repair the damaged pole. Further details about the crash or injuries have not been released. Detour Ahead: Roadwork Planned In Delaware County Crews will begin roadwork in Nether Providence on Monday, May 20 and will continue through Friday, May 24, township police say.  A lane closure is scheduled for Wallingford Avenue between Manchester Avenue and Route 252/Providence Road while workers make utility adjustments and mill and pave the roadway, according to officials.  Drivers should use alternate routes, they added.
