SUV Crashes Into Church, Injures 3 In Lansdale Borough: Police

A black Range Rover crashed into St. John's United Church of Christ after striking another vehicle in Lansdale Borough, leaving three people injured, police announced on Monday, March 17.

The crash happened at 500 West Main Street around 1:11 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, according to Lansdale Borough Police.

Investigators said the SUV first hit a silver GMC Sierra traveling eastbound on West Main Street, causing significant damage to the GMC before veering off and slamming into the church’s front stairs.

The Range Rover's driver was transported to Grandview Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while both occupants of the GMC were taken to Lansdale Hospital for treatment, authorities said.

Lansdale Borough Police, Towamencin Township Police, and Volunteer Medical Service Corps responded to the scene.
