Murder-Suicide: NJ Mom Of 4 ID'd After BF Shot Her In Gated Pocono Community
A domestic incident turned into an apparent murder-suicide in a gated community near the resorts in the Poconos on Tuesday night, authorities announced. Leilani Ramos, a 37-year-old mom of four from Newark, NJ, died from a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds at 8:33 p.m. on Nov. 28, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, detailed in a release the following morning. Charity Money Stolen From Poconos Gas Station: Police
Police in Monroe County are seeking the suspect who they say stole a jar filled with donations to charity from an area gas station. Pocono Township police were called to the BP gas station at the corner of Routes 611 and 715 in Tannersville around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 27, the department said in a release. There, staff told officers that the pictured suspect ran off with a donation jar containing $50, police said. He fled in a dark SUV, they added. Lehigh Coroner IDs Woman Killed In I-78 Crash
Lehigh County authorities have identified the woman killed in an I-78 crash Thursday as a 59-year-old Poconos woman. Barbara A. Lutz was the passenger of a car that was struck by another vehicle around 10:15 a.m. at mile marker 58 in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. The Tannersville resident was pronounced dead at 10:44 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. An autopsy is scheduled for Sept. 11 to determine the cause and manner of death.
