A husband and wife are accused of masterminding a $20 million Medicaid and Medicare fraud scheme from their South Philadelphia pharmacy, Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry announced on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Elizabeth Thompson, 70, the registered owner of Broad Street Family Pharmacy, and her husband, Peter Dello Buono, 70, allegedly ran the scheme alongside pharmacist Frank Bengermino, 70, defrauding federal healthcare programs by faking prescriptions and pocketing the cash, investigators said.

SEPTA Bus Triple Shooting Suspect ID'd: Police (Update)
The name of the suspect wanted for a triple shooting on a SEPTA bus earlier this month has been released by police on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Raphael Ezeamaka, 18, of Darby, is wanted for a triple shooting that happened on a SEPTA Route G bus at 700 South 57th Street on Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Ezeamaka is thought to frequent the Southwest, West, and South Philadelphia areas, according to police.
He is wanted for Aggravated Assault, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, and related offenses, police said.

A father-son pair of cheesesteak shop owners were sentenced to prison last week for hiding $8 million in revenue from tax collectors, say federal prosecutors.
Nicholas Lucidonio, 57, and Anthony Lucidonio Sr., 84, the proprietors of Tony Luke's in South Philadelphia, will each spend 20 months behind bars, said the Justice Department in a release.
