Double Shooting: Man Killed, Infant Injured In PA, Police Say (Developing) A double shooting has left a 25-year-old man dead and a 1-year-old boy injured, Philadelphia police announced late on Wednesday night, Sept. 4.  Police were called to the shooting in the 3200 block of D Street, in the 25th District, at 6:21 p.m., PPD detailed in the release.  The man "was shot multiple times throughout his body," the police said. He was taken by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6:46 p.m. The infant suffered graze wounds to his right leg, left leg, and head, according to PPD. Infant Shot In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A 7-month-old boy was struck by gunfire in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood on Thursday, July 18, city police said.  It happened just before 6 p.m. on the 4000 block of Meridian Street, according to investigators. The infant was struck in the leg and taken to Nazareth Hospital where he is in stable condition, officials said.  No arrests had been made as of Friday morning, July 19 and the investigation is ongoing, PPD added.

28-Year-Old Woman Shot In Face In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A gunshot victim was rushed to the hospital early Sunday, June 30, according to Philadelphia police.  Authorities said the 28-year-old woman was struck in the face on the 4700 block of Longshore Avenue in Tacony around 12:45 a.m. A private vehicle took her to Nazareth Hospital before she was transferred to Temple University Hospital, PPD said.  The motive remains unknown and no arrest has been made, officials said Sunday. Detectives continue to investigate.
