Cocaine, methamphetamine, and psychedelic mushrooms were seized from a Bensalem apartment where police say two men ran an “open-air” drug market. Township police executed a search warrant at the Bucks Meadows Apartments, 3131 Knights Road, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, the department said in a statement. A confessed cocaine dealer from Freehold who sold smuggled guns to buyers working for the FBI was sentenced to a plea-bargained five years in federal prison. Four undocumented people who were previously deported have been located in Pennsylvania and have been charged with illegal reentry, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. UPDATE: A deportee who snuck back into the U.S. and was living illegally in Paterson was sentenced Tuesday to 95 months in federal prison for raping a 15-year-old city girl. Juan Carlos Morales-Pedraza, a 35-year-old Mexican citizen who was born in Ecuador, had been deported in 2010, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said. A deportee who'd been living illegally in Paterson after sneaking back into the country admitted Tuesday that he raped a 15-year-old city girl whom he convinced to travel out of state with him, federal authorities said.
