Car Fire Causes Road Closure In Bedford Part of a busy road in Northern Westchester was closed after a vehicle caught on fire.  The blaze happened on Sunday, Nov. 17 just before 9 p.m., when flames were seen coming from a car at the intersection of Darlington Road and South Bedford Road (Route 172) in Bedford, according to the Bedford Fire Department.
