Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

73-Year-Old ID'd As Drowning Victim In Sagaponack Authorities have identified a drowning victim on Long Island. The Southampton Town Police Department said it received an abandoned 911 call from the vicinity of Gibson Lane in Sagaponack at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4. Dispatchers were able to re-contact the caller who reported a man was missing in the water after going swimming at Gibson Beach.  Southampton Town Police patrol officers, Marine Units, detectives, Bridgehampton FD and EMS responded to the area to search for the man. Fatal House Fire: 62-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Nesconset A Long Island resident was killed in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 5:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in Nesconset. First responders rushed to the scene at Highland Place after a 911 call. 1 Suffers Severe Injuries In Hauppauge Crash A two-vehicle Long Island crash left one of the drivers seriously injured. It happened around 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct.13, in Hauppauge. A 33-year-old man from Brentwood was driving a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on Joshuas Path, near Stonehenge Lane.  He attempted to make a right-hand turn into a parking lot and was struck by a 2016 Yamaha motorcycle that was trying to go around the Jeep, according to Suffolk County Police.
