Asbury Park Man Who Killed Victim After Dice Game Gets Life In Prison, Prosecutors Say An Asbury Park man will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing a Lakewood man and robbing him after a dice game, authorities said. Jaszhark Rogers, 38, was sentenced to life in prison, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Friday, Nov. 15. He also received 46 additional years for other charges at his sentencing on Friday, Nov. 1. Man Convinced PA Girl To Send Him Sexual Pics, Videos: Prosecutors A New Jersey man was accused of getting a Pennsylvania girl to send him naked pictures and sexual videos, authorities said. Fredderico Soda, 29, of Tabernacle, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said in a news release. The investigation began earlier in 2024 when the county prosecutor's office received a tip about Soda's online activities from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Officers Not Indicted In Armed Manchester Township Man's Shooting Death, AG Says Two officers will not face criminal charges after killing a Manchester Township man armed with a semi-automatic rifle, authorities said. A grand jury voted not to indict officers Nicholas Greenwood and Michael Anderson, the state Office of the Attorney General said in a news release on Friday, Nov. 15. The two were involved in the shooting death of 39-year-old Shannon Rose on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023. Wanted Man Without Driver's License Found With Drugs After Atlantic City Crash, Police Say An Atlantic City man was accused of having drugs after crashing his vehicle, authorities said. Louis Murphy, 22, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. An officer saw two vehicles crash into each other near the intersection of Tennessee and Baltic avenues at around 4:52 p.m. Murphy walked away from his vehicle and the officer chased him down to detain him. Millville Teen Driving Stolen Car Found With Fake Gun, Bridgeton Police Say A Millville teen was accused of carjacking someone and driving the vehicle in Bridgeton, authorities said. Juan Vasquez Jr., 19, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers stopped Vasquez while he was driving at around 11:06 a.m. Investigators said he was in a vehicle stolen during a carjacking in Millville. Vasquez was charged with carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm. The teen was held in the Cumberland County Jail.

Massive Hotel Proposed To Replace Shuttered Wonderland Pier In Ocean City: Reports A developer is planning to bring a new purpose to a shuttered and iconic amusement park on the Ocean City boardwalk, according to reports. Wonderland Pier owner Eustace Mita said he wants to create a 252-room hotel on the site of the theme park that closed in October, abc6 Action News reported.
