PA Woman, 21, Shot In Chest, Neck As Gunfire Hits 3 Vehicles, 2 Homes: Police
A 21-year-old woman was hospitalized after gunfire struck vehicles and homes in Pennsylvania overnight, police said.
Officers responded to the 800 block of Reno Place in Philadelphia’s 9th District around 3:41 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, for a report of a person with a gun.
At the scene, officers found four spent shell casings, three vehicles hit by gunfire, and two residences struck by bullets, according to police.

PA Dad Killed In Head-On Motorcycle Crash On Route 611: State Police
A 46-year-old dad was killed and another motorcyclist seriously injured in a head-on crash in Pennsylvania, authorities said.
Chad A. Hess of Easton, originally of Bangor, was riding a 2010 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide south on North Delaware Drive, also known as Route 611, in Lower Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, PA State Police Bethlehem said.
Hess lost control, crossed into the northbound lane, and struck a northbound 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, according to the release.

The company that designs Tim Stockel's corn mazes had been trying to get Dolly Parton into cornfields for nearly three years.
The idea was simple: honor an American icon in the fall, when denim jackets, country music, and getting lost in a cornfield just seem to fit.
Finally, in February, Parton's team agreed to a one-year licensing arrangement allowing participating farms to use her image in corn mazes designed by The Maize Company.
"To me, she was everything," said Stockel, who runs the 130-acre Happy Day Farm in Manalapan alongside his wife, Olivia Stockel, a massive Dolly Parton fan.
