I-81 N Reopens After Multiple Crashes In Greencastle-Waynesboro: PennDOT

Part of Interstate 81 northbound closed after multiple crashes near the border with Maryland, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials announced on Saturday, June 29.

The closure was from I-81 N from Exit 5 Greencastle-Waynesboro to Exit 10: PA 914 Marion. 

It was first reported just after 3:30 p.m. but the roadway reopened around 5 p.m., according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. 

It is unclear how many vehicles and people were involved and if there were any injuries.
