Victim Named In Deadly Wrong-Way Crash On PA Route 22 The Northampton County Coroner's Office has identified the 22-year-old man who died after a wrong-way driver drove up a highway on-ramp between Easton and Bethlehem on Thursday, Oct. 5.  John Michael Woodburn of Bethlehem died from multiple blunt force trauma, Coroner Zachary Lysek said. Double Murder: Teen, Adult Found Killed In Lehigh Valley Home State police are investigating after two people were found murdered in a North Catasauqua home.  Relatives made the grisly discovery just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 at 1106 Railroad Street, troopers said.  Inside, a 39-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were pronounced dead by Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. Each died from "sharp force injuries" by manner of homicide, Lysek's office found.  Neither victim was named by authorities.  The investigation remains ongoing.

Man Killed In Lehigh Valley Crash ID'd By Coroner Officials have identified the man who died in a Bethlehem Township car accident on Tuesday, Aug. 8 as 64-year-old David Capelles.  Capelles crashed on the 3600 block of North Hecktown Road, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek in a release. First responders took him to St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus where doctors pronounced him dead, the coroner said.  The cause of death was ruled multiple blunt force trauma and the manner accidental.  "No other information will be released at this time," Lysek said.

Victim ID'd In Deadly Northampton House Fire Authorities have named the 64-year-old man who perished alongside a cat in a house fire in Williams Township on Monday, July 10.  Donald C. Fey Jr. died of carbon monoxide toxicity and smoke inhalation, and the manner of death was accidental, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek in a release.  Fey was found dead at his home on the 1500 block of Raubsville Road around 8:20 a.m. Monday, Daily Voice reported.  The Criminal Investigations Unit of the state police Belfast Station is leading the probe into the fire's cause, troopers have said.  According to his obit…

Coroner IDs Body Found In Lehigh River Northampton County authorities have identified the body found floating in the Lehigh River over the weekend.  He was 62-year-old Bethlehem resident Dale G. Moyer, county Coroner Zachary Lysek's Office said in a release. Moyer's official cause and manner of death are pending the results of an investigation, Lysek added.  His body was found in Lower Saucon Township on Sunday, June 25, according to the release.

Pedestrian, 77, Killed Crossing Easton Street An Easton man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a city street on Thursday, June 15.  Saifeddin Alrefai, 77, of the West Ward, was walking across Larry Holmes Drive when he was hit, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek's Office in a release.  Alrefai was rushed to the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus where he was pronounced dead, officials said. His death has been ruled accidental by cause of multiple blunt force injuries, Lysek added.  No charges were announced in connection with the crash.

Police ID Skeletal Remains In Lehigh Valley As 'Kunkletown Killer' Police have identified the skeletal remains found by hunters in the Lehigh Valley as belonging to a convicted killer.  Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said the bones were those of William S. Shakeeyah Elisia Jackson, 34, was found dead with 10 gunshot wounds at the 600 building of the Canal Park Apartments shortly after 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
