Fatal Crash: Philly Motorcyclist Killed In 3-Vehicle Collision, Police Say A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a three-vehicle collision in Philadelphia, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3 p.m. on Woodhaven Road (Route 63) near Thornton Road, Philadelphia police said. The male rider, who was not identified, was traveling eastbound, and collided with both a vehicle and a box truck, also traveling eastbound, police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by Medic 20 at 3:19 p.m., they said. Woodhaven Road was closed in both directions during an investigation.

Teen Bicyclist Struck Dead In NE Philadelphia: Police A teenager is dead after being hit by a car while riding his bike in Philadelphia, police told Daily Voice.  It happened around 4:15 a.m. on Friday, July 28, the department said.  The victim, an unnamed 18-year-old man, was struck at the intersection of Woodhaven Road and Byberry Road in the Northeast, police said. He was rushed to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 5 a.m., they added.  The driver fled the scene and police did not provide a vehicle description.
