Rt 611 Ramp To Rt 202 Closed After Vehicle Fire: Doylestown Police A vehicle fire temporarily shut down the ramp from northbound Route 611 to northbound Route 202 in Doylestown on Sunday, Dec. 8, authorities said. The blaze was reported at 9:15 p.m., prompting a response from the Doylestown Township Police Department and Doylestown Fire Company, according to a police release. Officials closed the ramp to traffic while crews worked to extinguish the flames. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes until the area was cleared. Poconos Driver Killed After Losing Control On Snow-Covered Route 611: Police A Pocono Summit man died in a crash involving a box truck on a snow-covered Route 611, police announced Friday, Nov. 22. Brian Rambhawan, 36, was traveling south on the slippery road when he lost control of his sedan and spun into oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound box truck, according to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department. The crash happened at 3:54 a.m. in Coolbaugh Township. PennDOT Work To Begin In Plumstead, Police Say Crews will begin work on Old East Road in Plumstead beginning Tuesday, July 23, township police announced.  The street will be shut down from Curly Hill Road to Route 611 all day for drainage pipe replacement, authorities wrote in a release. Only emergency traffic will be allowed, police said.  Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes, including Curly Hill Road between Easton Road and Old Easton Road or Point Pleasant Pike.

Sinkhole Closes Route 32 In Bucks County PennDOT crews are repairing a sinkhole on River Road/Route 32, officials say.  According to Tinicum police, River Road is closed from Route 611 (Easton Road) to Bridgeton Hill Road in Nockamixon and Bridgeton townships.  Drivers should use Bridgeton Hill Road/Marienstein Road and Route 611 (Easton Road) instead of Route 32.  Expect traffic slowdowns in the area, officials said.
