Cat 'Mobile' Adorable Adoptions Rolling To Penn State Berks
You've heard of the batmobile but have you heard of the cat mobile? Cats and kittens will be available for adoption at the Guts & Glory Digestive and Wellness Expo on Saturday, Sept. 28, the Animal Rescue League of Berks County announced earlier in the week. The mobile cat adoption event will take place on the Perkins Plaza Event Lawn at Penn State Berks, 1801 Broadcasting Road, Reading from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can adopt a fur friend or hairline feline but the ARL advises that adoption fees will vary by pet. Family Sought For Bonded PA Dogs Who 'Need To Work On Dieting'
A pair of dogs whose owner went into a nursing home are in need of a forever home, according to their Bucks County-based rescue. Nikki and Fluffy are bonded 9-year-old Collie mixes, according to Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown. They are described as being "very sweet dogs who would love a new home together where they can spend their days napping together and going for walks." Christmas Comes Early For Kittens Left For Dead At South Jersey Recycling Center
Finding objects that have been thrown away improperly with recyclables is not out of the norm for recycling workers. But when staffers heard saw movement and heard cries coming from a backpack on a conveyor belt at the Burlington County Recycling Center, they knew this wasn't trash. To their shock and surprise, three small kittens were inside the bag. They had apparently been placed in the backpack and abandoned in a recycling container.
