A 90-year-old man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning, Dec. 19, in Plymouth Meeting, according to police. An inmate at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale was found dead in his cell, officials announced on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2024. Lance Heverly, 39, was discovered unresponsive in his cell. More than 75 Philadelphia firefighters responded to an early morning blaze in Strawberry Mansion on Tuesday, March 12, according to authorities. First responders were called to the 2800 block of Lehigh Avenue just after 3 a.m., a PFD spokesperson told Daily Voice.
